Control panels for upfitting

You should not redraw the panel for every machine.

QUADRAQ is a platform of pre-configured control panels for workshops that upfit and revamp vehicles and industrial machines. One wiring schema, three controller sizes sharing the same pinout, connectors labelled the same way every time.

The schema gets redrawn every time

Same job, different numbering, different terminal strip. Design time comes back in full on every order and never pays for itself.

Support depends on who wired it

Three years later, with the truck stuck on site, the technician answering the phone is not the one who built the panel.

Spare parts are rebuilt, not ordered

One discontinued component forces you to redraw part of the schema instead of picking a stock code.

The platform

Four decisions taken once, valid on every machine.

  1. One schema

    One wiring schema for every size

    The three controller levels — small, medium, large — belong to the same family and share the same pinout. Power and I/O count change, the wiring does not: learn one panel and you have learned them all.

  2. Two connectors

    Large for the zone, M12 for the node

    The large 16-pin connector carries power and the emergency chain to one zone of the machine. The 5-pin M12 serves simple nodes on the CAN bus. Nothing else to choose, nothing else to get wrong on assembly.

  3. Fixed labelling

    Wires always carry the same number

    Permanent branch, ignition branch, zone potentials: numbering is defined at platform level and does not change from one machine to the next. You put the probe where you already know it goes.

  4. Three networks

    Chassis, machine and accessories kept apart

    The dialogue with the vehicle chassis, the internal machine network and the on-board devices — display, modem, switch — sit on three separate buses. A fault on one branch does not take the others down.

The ranges

Four machines, the same electrical base.

Between one range and the next, in practice only the cab control panel changes. Everything else — schema, labelling, connectors — stays identical. And when a machine fits none of the four, we start from the same blocks anyway.

A finished panel, or just the components.

Assembled panel

Enclosure, components, internal wiring and testing. It arrives ready to mount and to plug into the connectors.

KIT

Components only

For workshops that build their own enclosures or have to fit a space they already have. Same bill of materials, same schema, assembly on your side.

Every configuration produces a unique part number: controller size, range, enclosure layout, on-board options. That code is what you order the second time, and the third.
