IPL Light Therapy Using a True Square Pulse
The Quadra Q4 IPL therapy system produces a true square pulse, with pulse durations lasting from 10 to 50msec with constant output. Because the pulse produced is uniform, the current density in the flash lamp is constant, which in turn causes the spectral output to remain constant throughout the entire pulse. This uniform pulse creates a much more efficient heating process so lower fluencies can be used to achieve the same clinical result.
